explore the route taken by the Virgin Mary and Jesus, when they left Palestine
for the safety of Egypt.
What to Expect
On day one, you will be met at the airport and taken to your hotel.
Day two includes a tour of the Cairo area, including three magnificent pyramids,
the Sphinx at Giza, and the Egyptian Museum.
On day three you will leave Cairo for Alexandria. This day includes the Coptic
sites visited by the Holy Family in Lower Egypt, including St. Mary's church,
where the Jesus is said to have left his footprint on a rock.
Day four is dedicated to Alexandria, including Greco-Roman monuments such as the
catacombs of Kom El Shogafa and the Roman Amphitheater.
On day five, you return to Cairo, visiting a Coptic monastery at the midway
The sixth day will take in various places in Cairo that were visited by the
Holy Family, including Mostord, where Jesus is said to have caused a water
spring to flow, and Matarya.then travelling to
On the seventh day, you begin your tour in El Menya, where Jesus is said to have
saved Mary from a falling rock upon which he left a palm print. Then traveling
to Assiut and over night.
The eighth day continues on to Assiut, with stops including the Monastery of El
Muharraq, site of the world's first Christian church.
And a visit to the Monastery of Dronka, which includes a cave where the Holy
Family stayed. That night you will return to Cairo, and the following day is
free in Cairo.
